Sorry it has been so long since we have posted. Being home with people visiting daily has kept us pretty busy in the past two weeks. Things are steady over here. George and I came over last Wednesday as you probably remember but we didn't get to talk at all because you had such a bad case of hiccups! We took turns just sitting with you in silence while you dozed, reminiscing about shared good times and thinking about your impact on us. We are both thankful to have you as an important member of our adopted family.
We left for Kentucky on Thursday to go to my brother Cliff's 2000 acre property near Natural Bridge State Park. My sister Melissa and her husband Gary came in from Washington State and my brother Jim and his daughter and granddaughter came in from Chicago. We had a lot of fun together. We heard a local band, had all you can eat lobster, hiked several miles, and played miniature golf. You would have loved the view from the ski lift at Natural Bridge. I felt like a bird flying over the trees. The family hike reminded me of all those walks we all took around Meyer lake. Do you remember when Robin got so upset about not being allowed to swim to the raft from the camp site due to the possibility that he could get tangled up in the lilly pads? You ended up getting in the boat and following him as he swam all the way to Yohan's raft and back. Of course he showed us all what a competent swimmer he was and you showed him how important his safety was to you. Riding time backwards I am imaging Amir and Robin as very small children playing with the frogs by the shore. What a delightful sight. We all enjoyed every minute. Time to sign off. I have probably put you to sleep by now with all my ramblings. We love you and Tuni and Robin and Amir
