Brief update. I have found the lynchpin of the Mating Season OST. It wasn't any mix of "Closer." It was the Rosetta Stone cover. The synth background during the refrain is... is... Suicide Girl, for lack of a better means of describing it. It's now only a matter of time until the rest of the album falls into place.
