Oh: Bexxese sighting!
During my one-on-one before the group band meeting yesterday, my section leader had me play the St. James Infirmary Blues (a great song, originally with lyrics about a sailor getting an STD and dying!), while he improvised a harmony/jazz riff. I pointed out afterwards that I'd like to get to the point of being good at noodling, like he is.
He didn't know what that meant.
When I mentioned this to a friend at dinner later, she also didn't know what noodling was, but pointed out she could infer it from the discussion.
Noodling! Where else does one talk about noodling around, other than in music?
