hungry and joco
1. I've had Jonathan Coulton's version of "Baby Got Back" in my head all day. I caught myself singing snippets outloud as I walked by some co-workers. :p "oooh, I wanna pull up tough / coz I know that that butt was stuffed...."
2. Hungry thoughts, waiting for dinner to materialize. My straight gf and I commuted today, discussing goddess energy, homeopathics, the fear surrounding all things that sway from Logical Western Science in the minds of, well, mostly men, relationships, and good food.
It's our standard discussion fare. We have a parallel ex experience, as well. Hanging out with her's a good reminder of the succulent bits of life worth reveling in. She loaned me an iron for my sewing projects!
3. Did I tell you I have a klean kanteen? *heart heart heart* A thanks gift from this midwife I sometimes catsit for. The woman has the sparsest home evar; it's a modern miracle. Her fridge actually has almost no food in it, and, aside from one cupboard and a few jars tucked under the toaster, there is no food in sight. I think she must make things from scratch. Or, she's anorexic. It's fun to visit, however strange. She has her own laundry machines, too. Jealousy!
