Thanks to the  previous misadventure in the Westfjords, we did not have enough days to walk the Laugurvegurinn trek, which is a real shame. We just returned from an incredibly intense trip up to the Westfjords area of Iceland.

We arrived in Reykjavik yesterday morning after an all-night flight that should´ve been spent sleeping but was instead spent chattering nonstop with canyonwren about our love relationships. I've been doing a bunch of reading and testing and dinking around with image management ideas. I think I've finally settled on a reasonable management plan:

1. Picasa desktop client to perform local tasks like EXIF tag management, inventory, and basic editing needs. The GeoSetter application does a nice job of managing geotagging in a Flickr ( Read more... )

My photo gallery is now updated for the Peru trip. The Ausangate and Cuzco/misc albums are completed. The Camino Inca album could use a lot more factual data in the photo captions, but it's good enough for now.
