042: Patience
Walking through museums with Dale could be such a chore. Today, though, he seemed genuinely interested.
She was detailing the history and usefulness of the lever and he was actually paying attention. It gave her a touch of smugness to know that she was succeeding where all of Dale’s teachers, professors, and instructors had failed-in proving that Dale did have an attention span.
He even asked questions sometimes.
Then it hit her.
"You’re doing this for sex, aren’t you?"
He blushed a little. "Partly," he replied honestly. "But you do make this more interesting than my professors did."
She was undeniably flattered. And he’d put so much effort into this and been so patient. She couldn’t help it.
Stacey slipped her hand into his and left the lever to Archimedes.
