"I think I’ll grow a moustache."
Stacey paused in the middle of brushing her teeth. She spat and raised an eyebrow at him.
"What?"
He was studying himself in the mirror. "I think I’ll grow a moustache," he repeated. "It would look dashing, don’t you think?"
She wondered briefly if Skrulls had replace her clean-shaven husband. Then again, he was known for his flights of fancy. Maybe once it started itching, he’d forget the idea.
"I think it would look…" she searched for the right words. "Different."
He glanced at her. "You don’t like it."
"No, not really."
"You’ve never seen me with a moustache."
"Your point?"
He shrugged. "I’m still going to try it out. See how it looks. My hair’s going gray. I may as well do something to look dignified."
"Dignified?"
"Yes. Maybe some form of beard is in order, as well."
"Darling, do what you feel you must." She returned to brushing her teeth and left him to his shaving woes.
