Lightning the cat
I know that I haven't posted for over a month, so here goes. Lightning was throwing up several times a day during the skunk time. We thought that and Tiger dying (sp?) was why she threw up. But it was happening for over 1 month, so I decided to take her to the vet. Darn good thing we did.
It's also a good thing that we changed vets. This vet can take tests/images in the office while we wait. They found that her stomach is thick and possibly due to cancer so they sent us to specialists. They are right...
Her stomach and intestines are at the beginning stage of cancer. If this skunk thing hadn't happened we probably would have lost her sooner. I'm thankful that it's not a severe kind of cancer. The vet said that animals can live for over 5 years with it.
We started her on the med yesterday. We only have to give it once a day on Mon, Wed, and Fri. Also have to continue a liquid med once a day and change food. So far, so good.
