We've been skunked
Our house has been smelling funny for a week now. Our poor cats have been going nuts. We started with air ionizers, which really do help with the smell. We got a trap at noon from the city to catch them yesterday and got a skunk at 3 the same day. It was picked up this a.m. and we got another trap.
They gave us a little pamphlet about skunks and how they work. This is their mating season and females share the dens. The females give birth in June and can have up to 10 babies. I really hope we only had 1 down there and that it was a male (they don't share).
