Best weekend ever!

Saturday Scott had a barbecue at his place, and asked me to bring an appetizer. I was really struggling with what to bring because I knew it had to survive the Bart ride over there, so I ended up making mini corn muffins. They were yummy! I think the boys liked them, too (I was the only girl in attendance, lol). They didn't compliment them explicitly, but they did eat them all, which was good enough for me.

Also, Scott has been trying to set me up with his friend Chris for a while now, or at least hoping it would happen. So he asked Chris to come pick me up from Bart, which he did. When he got there he was like "I don't know why Scott couldn't come get you," and in my head I was thinking, "really? You really don't know what's going on here?" but I didn't say anything. haha. Scott's excuse was that he still had a lot of cleaning and cooking to do, which wasn't exactly a lie. I will say that I haven't been very actively pursuing Chris, either, he just has never seemed very interested. We get along well enough and he is attractive, but I'm just not sure. I also don't know what Scott's said to him about it. There was one point, though, where Chris was facing away and stretching his arms above his head, and his shirt was riding way up and I could see his skin, and I just wanted to run over and touch. Boy is real skinny like I like, haha.

Anyway, the boys grilled some yummy burgers and corn on the cob, and then Scott made Bananas Foster, which was the yummiest thing I've ever put in my mouth! Then we watched Kick-Ass, which I really liked. And then I went home.

Sunday nuclearsugars and I went to the Renegade Craft Fair, which was like the best thing ever! I wanted to buy EVERYTHING. I'm totally going to the Christmas one, too. Also, on the way we stopped at Marc by Marc Jacobs, too, which I heart.

Awesome stuff I bought:
-Keep Calm and Carry On poster

-Vinyl cuff from Miss Alison. Her booth was one of my favorites, and I wanted to get a bunch of stuff. Here is the cuff:

-Old book notebook from Ex Libris Anonymous. Mine was Digital Principles and Applications. I picked it because of its awesome 80s styled cover with rainbow-y colors and graphics that kinda look like daleks. Here's mine:

nuclearsugars got one that was a King Arthur book, and we were freaking out and squeeing about it a lot. :D

-Tons of mini button pins from The Sweetie Pie Press (including one that just says WANK :D

-A pocket mirror from Oh, Hello Friend

-Little stickers made from old envelopes from The Postage Service

Stuff I wish I bought:

-A prick cushion, aka felt penises.

-A fake beard from I made you a beard.

-A lapel necklace from Nous Savons. Actually, I will just make one.

-A sneezy pouch from alliebeans, which I can also probably sew myself.

-Cute cupcake and hamburger cup cozies from Twinkie Chan, which I can knit no problem, but they were adorable.

-Feather earrings from Fiesty Elle.

-A Vaya bag. I WILL buy one of these, I just wish I had taken more time to look at them and buy one at the fair. I had already been looking into a Timbuk2, but these seem way better, and are cheaper, and made from recycled materials. Seriously, you guys, I can't stop thinking about these bags. WANT.

Here is a photo set that me and nuclearsugars took at the free photobooth thingy. I was kinda like "meh, that line is long" but Sugars talked me into doing it and I'm so glad! Look how cute we are! I also cropped myself out of the mustache part for my new facebook profile pic.
