Look! I'm alive!
While you may have thought I dropped off the face of the Live Journal planet, this is not the case - I've simply been VERY very busy. It's amazing how having a full time job sucks up most of your free time. I swear, once I get home from work it feels like 15 minutes goes by and it's already time for me to go to bed! But that's besides the point, here's what's new with me:
Those are the biggest updates I suppose - I've had a great past couple weekends hanging out with my friends and steve. Halloween was quite enjoyable, I dressed up as a lady bug! But that's besides the point, here's what's new with me:
- Work is going very well - although there still are those awkward moments from my being new. I don't feel as if I'm totally accustomed to working with the people I do, but I'm sure this will change over time. Regardless, I'm liking the regular paycheck
- Unfortunately, most of those regular paychecks go towards my mortgage (I'm still looking for a roommate if you're interested!) and groceries. I'm thinking about getting a part time job just to give myself a little extra cash, but I don't know what my body will think of getting considerably less sleep. I'll figure it out soon enough I suppose.
- You all will also be please to hear that my condo is finally starting to feel like home (except for the fact that I won't be there at all this week since i"m house sitting - but hey, wouldn't you sleep at some ones house for 6 nights for a $150?). I've received most of my furniture with the exception of my couch which won't be delivered until December - it was special order. Now i'm working on cool artwork to decorate the place. I'm excited to have everything finished so I can have a housewarming party!
