Pack and load day
This morning the movers came to my home in San Jose to pack up all of my stuff. It took them only 2 1/2 hours to pack and load up everything, including my piano. I called my mom periodically to check in, and she said that they were all doing a really great job. That was definitely a relief to hear, because it's hard not being there to oversee everything and to also take note of which boxes they're putting certain things in.
I gave my mom money to tip each person $25, and when she did they were so surprised and grateful. My mom said that they weren't expecting to get a tip. I love it when people aren't expecting something and, as a result, are truly appreciative when they do receive it.
