cashew nuts
I'm eating cashew nuts,roasted and salted, from Tesco. They are tasty
Thanksgiving yesterday with the girls, consisted of americans, germans, italians, and english. I made mulled wine and consumed lots of it...
'Twas a spirited evening of wine drinking, music listening, and gossip spreading
Tomarrow i will be equally productive, there is a formal dinner at the elegant Edinburgh Hotel. I have decided that I must shave my legs in order to legally wear my cream and flouncy cocktail dress (I bought 10 rasors, yes, i am properly equipped)
Shah. Muah. Blah.
I also booked two tickets this morning...Im going to London for a day trip in the onset of our winter break and then to Paris to visit the relatives...But I have in mind a plan, yes, and it is devious. I have an uber strict parisian uncle and to prevent his wrath and displeasure, Im gonna go on a secretive trip to AMsterdamn with my French and English cousins, Swiash and Parenda, respectively. Ha haaa! My uncle will be unwitting becuase no one will tell him, after my trip I will just call him up and smoothly say "I've just arrived, I'm at the Garre du Nord!" (my point, and my slyness is that i would have already arrived in paris three days beforehand)
So heres the plan yo: go to holland for a couple of days, carouse in the illicit cafes, visit museums and pore over every Vermeer and Rembrandt, and perhaps do a bit of sight-seeing...
And O yes! YES! when I come back to France, I might see my first snow in Paris, the Eiffel tower frosted with that white froth, the purity of the colour obscuring the dirt, corruption, and eroding darkness of the city...
But despite that, and its occasionally slimy draggeurs, it IS a beautiful city, especially at night. At night, the river Seine is a dynamic current of reflecting lights and colour. Ahh PARIS. And my cousins. I love them and miss them.
