Another beloved cat crossed the bridge
Pelusa was put down today after a huge battle against osteomielitis, a bone infection that entered because her long fight against calicivirus. She had this problem since she was a kitten and we brought her home without knowing. 2 months ago she was stronger than ever and we finally were able to see her jumping on the kitchen table asking for food. But she lost this battle, even the vet was sad because she saw her trying to hang to life, but her body was being defeated.
I miss you my dear baby, you were my company when every night when I was in the kitchen eating a midnight snack, always asking for ham or milk in your always particular way. I wish we could noticed that infection before the abscess exploded, we all feel guilty because nobody noticed anything. We love you and you'll never be forgotten.
We'll meet again someday, I refuse to go anywhere if it's not with my dear deceased friends. Take that note God.
