Backstory: Lord Blumiere was born into the ancient and powerful Tribe of Darkness, a family of sorts that broke off from the Ancients many years before his time. They resided in a grand and intimidating castle deep in a dark forest away from other civilizations. Throughout his life, Blumiere was taught to be a sophisticated gentleman and learned the customs and rules of his lineage. Because someday he would become the next count of the tribe, he was often sheltered and rarely released from castle grounds. His father had told him of dangerous beings beyond their home and would scold him if he ever strayed too far away. One day, however, Blumiere’s curiosity had finally gotten the best of him and had run off. Not knowing of the environmental dangers that lay ahead, he had accidentally slipped and fell from a high mountain edge, crashing down with such force, it caused him to slip into unconsciousness. Luckily, a nearby human girl was able to see his unfortunate fall and came with help. The young lord woke up several hours later, lying in a bright room with his wounds already tended to. He was disgusted at the thought of being in a human’s home, but the human that had found him scolded Blumiere for already moving too much because of his injuries. He was baffled because of how the girl was treating him, since his father had told him such awful stories about the humans. She said, however, that she wouldn’t ignore any soul in need of help. Because of this, Blumiere had calmed down and the two introduced themselves, the girl being Timpani. Becoming close friends, the both of them did not think of the fate that was to fall upon them. In time, Timpani and Blumiere became very close to each other. They’d exchange their thoughts and opinions on day-to-day things and often snuck out after dark to see each other. Blumiere had never been so happy in his life, and devoted all of his love to Timpani and the things she loved. One night, the count of the tribe and father of Blumiere had witnessed one of his son’s outings and followed, ultimately becoming infuriated when he had learned that his son had fallen in love with a human. Stalking and Threatening Timpani with death, he ordered her to cease her meetings with his son. Despite this though, she went to Blumiere the next night, telling him they weren’t meant for each other. Blumiere denied this because he knew about his father’s ambitions. He promised her that if they ran away together, they would find some place that would accept their relationship so that they could be together in peace. She whole-heartedly agreed, assured that they’d be able to meet again one last time before running away forever. This moment was cut short though when a dark mass shot up in the direction of the tribe’s castle and struck down between the couple. Blumiere was shaken and in panic, afraid of what could’ve happened to Timpani. He frantically searched the area for her, but to no avail. Enraged, Blumiere stormed into the castle’s throne room, finding his father patiently waiting and reading the Dark Prognosticus, an ancient and dark book filled with prophecies not meant for any being’s eyes. He demanded to know what happened to his love. His father’s only response was that he sent her to wander the dimensions until she died and that Blumiere should let her go. With his heart torn, Blumiere took the Prognosticus from his father, shoving him down as he did so. The count warned him of the evil that the book possessed but he only ignored him, knowing that nothing mattered now that Timpani was gone. He awakened the artifact and allowed his mind to become cruel and warped, his thoughts only bent on revenge and grief. He renamed himself Count Bleck, believing Blumiere died along with his love. The new count then destroyed the entire dimension in which he spent his past life, new ambitions in tow.

Count Bleck spent so much time searching for Timpani through numerous dimensions, but grew incredibly doubtful of her existence after each passing failure. One night after another day of searching, he decided to camp out in a small forest. Suddenly, he heard a small squeaking noise. Bleck investigated and saw a tiny bat caught in a trap! Feeling sorry the creature, he let it go free, the bat nuzzling him as it went. Later in the night, a young women whom he had never seen before entered his campsite. She told him that she was the bat that he had saved earlier and that she’d follow him forever since she owes him her life. Over time, Bleck and Nastasia (the women he saved) sought out more minions and power, even constructing a grand castle in an entirely new dimension in the process. Soon, the time would come for the final prophecy in the Prognosticus to be fulfilled. Soon, he and Nastasia were finally able to call upon the Chaos Heart with the marriage of Bowser and Peach, using it to form the Void and engulf all worlds, leaving the universe in a state of ruin. As the Void grows, Bleck has a few run-ins with a group of heroes meant to stop the prophecy. Throughout their confrontations, he slowly begins to regret his actions thanks to the familiar speech and beliefs of a small butterfly Pixl name Tippi, whom he starts to perceive as his lost love. When the heroes finally confronted the count, he fully realized the consequences of his actions, and wished inwardly for them to defeat him so that the Void would disperse. After the heroes defeated Bleck with the use of the Pure Hearts, Tippi had already by then recovered her memories of the man she loved and comforted the count, desperately asking for him to bring to an end to the chaos. Still, Bleck said there was no way to stop it and the only way was to end his game. At this point, he truly did care about the survival of his love and the universe she lived in. This moment was disrupted by the inevitable betrayal of one of the count’s minions, Dimentio, who took the Chaos Heart for himself and sent the two to Dimension D to wait for their fate. There, the count wallowed in negativity; still thinking about past events until his other minions came and found the both of them. The Pure Hearts were drawn out by the immense loyalty and care they still had for the count and were instantly filled with power again, which they used against Dimentio and allowing him to be defeated by the 4 heroes. The Chaos Heart still beat though and the Void was still growing. The only other way to conquer it was with a wedding of pure love, which Count Bleck, now known as Blumiere once again, was still lucky enough to possess. Exchanging their vows and renewing their love after all this time, they used that, along with the Pure Hearts, to finally disband the Chaos Heart. This sent Blumiere and Timpani far away, to a whole other dimension to stay together for the rest of their games. In recent times, Blumiere began thinking of all his past wrongdoings and wished he could do something about it. With Timpani’s support and reassurance by his side, the couple left their paradise to clear his name and hopefully fulfill the wish that he had in his heart; to create a perfect world where their love could be accepted as well as becoming a place where the current and new generations could live safely.

What brings this person to Diamond City?: The hopes of becoming a new person and rejuvenating himself brought him here. He was drawn to its beautiful scenery and at the same time, its ever-moving and changing life. Knowing of its famous reputation of the people that lived there, Bleck believed he could become well known with his new attitude here.
Special Abilities:: Because of his pristine lineage, a natural control over his tribe’s dark magic is expected. He is easily capable of using a diverse set of abilities in battle even without the help of the Chaos Heart. These include slowing down time, conjuring smaller, less powerful voids, and dashing at high speeds. These days though, he doesn’t use any of them much, other than the ability to float around.
Misc. Notes: Apparently he still sometimes refers to himself in third person. It’s just a habit he can’t seem to shake off. He also doesn’t like people touching his cape since it’s easily susceptible to stains. He enjoys reading novels, taking time in the park to think, and tasting fine wines. He doesn’t like it when people point out past actions of his or his lack of limbs, and grading horrible homework for too long makes him go crazy.
Permissions: Later.
First-Person Sample: Thought Train: Much hasn’t changed since I’ve been gone indeed. I’m still getting complaints from students’ parents about having their kids being taught by… well, you know; someone like me. Bleck. But it can’t be helped, I suppose. But Count Bleck should stop being so negative. I’ve become well acquainted with most of the school’s staff and they’ve been very open to all of my questions. Thank Grambi for their heads up on some of the more, how should I put it, rambunctious, students as well.
Third-Person Sample:: The count lazily made his usual route home from another hectic day at the school. He almost didn’t notice a small shimmering object dangling from a trash bin had not a nearby cat knocked the bin over as it ran towards Club Sugar. He bent down and gently picked the object up, polishing it in his gloved hand as he examined it. It looked like a locket of some sort, complete with a thin gold chain and clasp. It was exquisitely crafted and its design was etched with natural beauty that would only compliment the looks of one single person in his life. It glimmered as he held it up to the streetlight and then smiled warmly. “Timpani would love this…” he said to himself as he placed it in his breast pocket and quickly made his way home to his loving wife.
