My sister the Oracle

I posted a couple years ago about how many people had reoccurring dreams of me dying in a car accident. How enlightening. I think like 4-5 different people told me a few years ago that they had one (or more) dreams of this happening to me. My sister told me she had a dream about it this week. It kind of feels like the part in that movie Big Fish where everyone looks into the crystal ball and ultimately see's how they will pass away. Its quite annoying because everyone thinks I am going to die or fall asleep at the wheel while driving.

Piebald on Friday & Saturday was amazing. It was awesome that Corey could join me for Fidays show. My friend Joe came along on Saturday. I'm kind of sad because I always had a really good time at every single one of their shows I have been to. Thats probably 7-8 shows. I recorded a few of the songs on Saturday. I think the audio came out ok, but the video was really hard to see with everyones hands constantly in the air. I'll probably post a couple on youtube, theres already several videos from their last show up there. I was taking it from further back in the venue, so I was suprised I could get anything at all.

Crowded House is playing a couple shows up in Boston. I really want to see the one on Monday, May 5th. Maybe something will work out. I am jamming tomorrow with Kyle and Marc. We were supposed to have Jim play guitar with us, but since he blew us off on Monday and isnt returning my calls maybe we will just practice as a trio. I think it would be better with two guitarists if we gig out eventually, but I guess theres not much I can do besides call someone a million times.

Speaking of calling people repeatedly, why is it that the people in your life you would like to see/spend time with the most are the ones who continuously ignore your attempts to contact them? Its one of my biggest pet peeves that has developed later in my life. I feel so lost sometimes when I think about some of the people who just repeatedly ignore you. I guess you can't force that issue though. If people are meant to be there for long term in your life, they just will. You can't change that. I think I'm crazy sometimes, with the number of attempts I make. I dont know.

Newegg is finally shipping me a new replacement monitor, since the first one was defective. I am expecting my new computer by next week, also. Its my first new computer in probably 8 years. How crazy is that?
Looking at buying a new sofa at Cardis, since they have 20% off sale going on. Its between these two. I'm a little worried it doesnt fit in our apartment (color wise). We have white walls and beige carpeting, so not sure if that works out. What do you think?
