Beautiful Disaster
It's funny how the weather can put you in different moods if you're not stable in how you feel. I personally love the cold weather as much as I hate it.
Today I had a realization and the weather didn't even affect it at all. Going down a new road can always hold so many different things that you've not seen or haven't felt in a long time. So long, that it seems new.
When you experience getting out to explore all of the newness on that road, you are in such awe that you can't express how you feel. You then have to stop and ask yourself, did I make the right turn or should I have taken that left at the crossroads. Everything that I need seems to be here, so I think I'll stay. Even though, this road is going to be a bit longer and unfamiliar, I'm going to take it.
I have no idea what lies ahead on this road. I'm sure there will be some bumps and maybe even a few detours. So I'm gonna fill up my tank and take this ride. In the long run, I think the destination, no matter how long it takes to arrive will be well worth the drive.
Winter's not so bad this year....but a storm may be coming..
