OK, so my cooling off is done...
I may have jumped the gun on somethings, but it has not changed my way of thinking regarding online freinds. The whole thing was a case of me not being aware of everything going on. I felt like an idiot after our conversation, but an apology was still recived for not letting me know what was going on. That doesn't change the fact that I was still burned previously and I will not go through that again.
