How many people are lucky enough to have 2 baby showers !
Yeah you heard me right spoiled me gets to have 2 baby showers ! whooo!
Here's how that came about, Last month I mentioned something to my mom about having a baby shower and in all seriousness she's like I'm not throwing you a baby shower let one of your friends do it so that same night my room mate emily called me and I was all bummed out because my mom told me that she wasn't giving me one, so Emily was like well its no big deal I'll throw you one and that made me happy. So I had planned on having that one the end of March.
So my mom told me to come and stay with her this weekend and we'd go crib shopping well when I called her last night to see what time we had planned on going beacuse with all that happened with emily I was so dead ass tired I wasn't sure if I wanted to drive a half hour with only 2 hrs of sleep on me so I was thinking I'd just come over today and she's like well I'd prefer if you came tonight because I dont want to go really late in the afternoon and she also said we'd do lunch before that, I was all over that. So she woke me up this morning around 10 which I found odd because she normally lets me sleep however late I want, anyway when I woke up this morning it was my understanding that we were going out to lunch at this new restauraunt that just opened and then crib shopping, then she tells me we have to drop some stuff off at her friend Lori's house and I'm like no big deal well I start hauling stuff down in her basement and then my mom goes into another room and calls me in there as soon as I walk in everyone yells SUPRISE !! at this point I'm still confused and was like What the Fuck is going on, it actually took me seeing all the gifts on the table to realize what was going on, guess you could say I was having a blonde moment so that was fun had by all except everyone there got to drink in my honor except me. So thanks to my mom she has now just cut my other guest list in half which is ok because I was afraid not everyone was going to get along especially my mom and Nate's mom they've never met before and anyone who knows my sisutaion my mom doesn't really care for Nate, she didn't even when we were dating so that could've been a little uncomfortable because my list before today consisted of my mom,my grandma, my uncle, my best friend Sarah T (who's also my son's god mother) my friend Erin and some other friends, people my mom works with, emily, Emily's mom and sister and of course Nate's mom because she's already done so much for me I'd feel rude if I didn't invite her. So now it's just my best friend Sarah,Erin and other friends,emily and matt of course because they already live there,Emily's mom and sister and Nate's mom.
