i have taken to sitting in starbucks with a coffee and drawing in my sketchbook. usually i go there with sophie so we just talk, but our classes and exam schedules clash a lot and i don't really have many friends in the city so i'm alone a lot. but starbucks gives me a chance to practice three of my favourite pastimes: drawing, drinking coffee ( ( Read more... )

i tend to go for venti lattes. which is boring, but with an extra shot of espresso; highly caffeinated.
it makes me sad that the starbucks on campus is a mission away &nowhere near any building i frequent. &the only other decent coffee place only goes to tall.

if it only goes to tall, it's not a real coffee place. anything that doesn't serve grande or up is clearly meant for children.

i think they get to be for adults due to the default lack of children on uni campuses. we have a lot of places that serve coffee but nowhere serves a decent range of coffee. it saddens me muchly. i've had to become a black coffee drinker. [although that is cliche enough in itself to be alright]
