My massive order of Think Geek stuff came in. Of the myriad of random objects, I happen to now own a blue
Zelda Ocarina! I remember writing out the sheet music to all the Zelda Ocarina of Time music years ago, but can't find it anywhere. * sigh * I'm sure a quick internet search will find what I need.
At least it already came with a booklet of some of the OoT music. Saria's Song (Lost Woods) is fun and a bit challenging. The fingering is very different than on my flute, so remapping my muscle memory is proving to be an interesting task.
I also got myself a
music box kit. The hardest part will be deciding which music to put on there. I at least ordered an extra refill of blank music so I don't feel as limited.
It's times like these I really miss my Yamaha keyboard. It helps me to tinker out compositions far better than any computer software I've tried. At least Brian and I are on the same page; we both want to buy a piano soonish. Maybe next year. Us being us, we want a good quality heirloom piece, probably a baby grand, and we're already saving up for it. He can't really play on the piano, but he enjoys tinkering on it and we want our future potential children to have the opportunity to learn and take lessons.
