Being sick sucks though hot chocolate, chocolate chip and cookie dough ice cream and a nice pillow helps a 1/8th. Yeah.

A remedy for a cold so far is German Chocolate Truffles and Rooibos tea. Granted, I'm not feeling any different except for a slight sugar rush. ;)

So I strained my right ankle weeding the garden this evening. My ankle is quite swollen but thankfully, it doesn't hurt. That will teach me to weed. ;)

... is when you are exhausted, crawl into bed at 9:45p only to still be awake at this time and unable to sleep. I wish I knew why I can't fall asleep. Tomorrow is going to be ultimate hell!

I neglected to mention in my previous post that I haven't been sleeping very well this week. Next Thursday would have been Bernadette's birthday so the week leading up to it tends to be difficult and this year isn't any exception. My girlie is adorable. When I cough a bit much, she comes up to me and puts her arm around me, asking "Mama, you ok?" Or even more cute -- when I have a coughing fit, she comes up to me and says, "Mama, you take medicine?" Then she puts her fist to her lips and makes a "pshshsh" sound like my inhaler.

Who is supposed to be taking care of whom

Well, as I mentioned yesterday, I ended up with a few meds and inhaler to get me through this bout of bronchitis. The docs are worried as this is my second bout of bronchitis / pneumonia in less than 3 months which is a bad sign. The meds seem to be making some improvement but I need to improve to a certain point by tomorrow to have it considered ( Read more... )
