TV Lists Summer 2012 edition

Now that I am free from the clutches of that show. the worst show. the show i shall not name, it's time to move on and really get into other shows that are not terrible that won't offend me and make me want to write angry rants all the time and aren't even fun and have destroyed all I cared about in the span of 44 minutes.

I have all summer to do...what i do. Hopefully though in between working. and getting my life back together. and watch good shows that are more worth my time and investment and energies.

Shows that I have watched and didn't hate heartily recommend:

• Archer (it's hilarious. the voice cast is ace and the characters are endearingly terrible people but oh so funnay.)
• Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 (this is a new show with Krysten Ritter [she's the b----] and the short strawberry blonde high school minion of Blair's as her new naive roommate and James Van Der Beek playing himself and it is funny and cute! i really like what i've seen so far.)
• Happy Endings (SO GOOD. MY GOD. LOVE THEM ALL. I'd sit in the kitchen by myself eating grilled cheeses marathoning this show late at night laughing so hard i nearly triggered an asthma attack and it was the best. except the asthma part.)
• Revenge (need to take a break because I am so not in the mood for a revenge saga soap but it is good so far and i will get back to finishing it)

The To-Watch for the first time list (very similar to older versions):

• Avatar the Last Air Bender (and force Brad to watch it with me. he needs me to cultivate his tastes from the horrible crap he likes now) + The Legend of Korra after that

• Community (i've technically seen the first five episodes but it was so long ago I may as well haven't and i need to watch from the beginning)

• Angel (I know too much about stuff and I feel like it'll ruin me watching it and so I am just waiting and waiting for a time I feel like I will not be super biased in any way but this may never happen)
• Better Off Ted
• Downton Abbey (still haven't gotten through s2 yet. yep)
• It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
• Mad Men
• The Office (daunting since it's like in its eighth season or whatever so that's a lot of tv to get through and i don't hear good things about its current quality but i'll always love the first five seasons no matter how bad it gets later on)
• Sailor Moon (my marathon of this fizzled out but i still want to watch it all)
• Sherlock (I have all of s2 downloaded so I may as well and then free up precious disc space)
• Strangers With Candy

Future Shows I am excited for:

• Elementary (Lucy Liuuuuuuuuuu as a female Watson! A Sherlock who isn't terrible face-wise (and NOT in the Ben Wyatt terrible facewise model of IE ADORABLE AS ALL GET OUT WITH HIS LITTLE ELFEN FEATURES AND FUNKY HAIRSTYLE THAT HAS A MIND OF ITS OWN! just the literal sense of terrible) yaaaaaay!)
• The Mindy Project (Mindy Kaling. enough said. In Mindy and her obvious romcom roots I trust.)
