RIP Elisa

If this story was a TV show, would be an episode of Cold Case. A corpse discovered by workers in the attic of a church.
Unfortunately it is not an episode of Cold Case. And the corpse was a girl,16 years old, disappeared 17 years ago from my hometown.

I was 17. Her disappearance shocked the entire city. Because usually nothing happens in this sleepy provincial town where everyone knows everyone. Because you can well imagine how any parent decided to tighten the reins of their daughters, after.
Because I can't say how many times I went in that church, in this 17 years, as well as the rest of the citizens. Or walked near it, being the church in the ancient center of the city, where every one use to stand or walk... God, I even spent an entire summer playing guitar and singing songs sitting in the stairs of that church...

Because I did not knew her, Elisa, (younger than me, different high school), but my brother went at her house many times, Elisa's brother being in his group of friends. Because, and this is really creepy, in my group of friends there was the boy who probably killed her. I knew his sister very well (the family has gone out of here few year after that September 12, 1993, "we could not stand the gossip" they said... ) and at least one time that individual was at my home.
I'm still shocked.

May you finally rest in peace, Elisa. And whoever killed you be punished.
