I don't know if you guys remember this, but a while ago I posted about how my Dad gave my brother an irrational fear of meteors...
Well, imagine the poor thing's reaction today when he learned that there is such a thing as a METEOR SHOWER!
Bro: Dad...
Dad: What is it?
Bro: Meteor showers don't exist, do they?
Dad: Sure they do!
Bro: *shocked* ... They do?
Dad: Oh yeah! They happen all the time.
Bro: All the time?!
Dad: Sure! I could try showing you, but you always say you're too scared to be outside at night.
Bro: No, no, it's ok. I don't need to see it.
Yeah, Dad... I WONDER WHY HE'S SCARED!

... OH! And of course my Dad never did explain to him what a meteor shower actually is. So, ummm... yeah, that certainly didn't help with his meteor-phobia.
