I suppose it comes as no surprise that I'm currently obsessing over one Mr. Benedict Cumberbatch.
Seriously, you know my never-ending Gary Oldman obession? Well, it's in nearly that level of pathetic that I'm currently finding myself. It's very, very sad.
So apart from working on my Sherlock/Doctor Who trailer (which is coming. Slowly, but steady!), I have also been going through Mr Cumberbatch's filmography and watching anything with him that I can get my hands on. Even movies where he shows up for no longer than 5 minutes or so.
I'm telling you, it's sad.
BUT not only have I been watching those, I have also been collecting gifs of all those movies and TV shows and everything.
I know that I'm not the only one suffering from Cumberbatch addiction (
zed_pm, I'm looking at you!), so for those of you still avoiding rehab, here's a treat for you (Warning: NOT dial-up friendly!):
The Cumberbatch GIFalicious Spam-a-thon!
There are 32 gifs in this batch (I TOLD you I need rehab!!). Most of them are from Fortysomething (it's got extra Hugh Laurie! How could I resist?), and I have made none for Sherlock ('cause there are plenty of those already). I have also not made any for Atonement because, even though it's one beautiful movie, Benedict plays a nasty evil guy in it and the story's all sad and depressing. So no.

The GIFs
[13] Fortytsomething (2003) **bonus Hugh Laurie**
[03] Hawking (2004)
[06] To the Ends of the Earth (2005) **drunk!Benedict FTW**
[02] Amazing Grace (2006)
[02] Inseparable (2007) **DOUBLE CUMBERBATCH**
[03] The Last Enemy (2008)
[01] Creation (2009)
[02] Small Island (2009)
FORTYSOMETHING (2003)In which Benedict plays Hugh Laurie's oldest son, Rory, who spends the whole series swapping girlfriends with his brother, Daniel.
I don't care if the show is all weird and bizarre, Benedict is adorable in it, so I couldn't help myself.
HAWKING (2004)In which Benedict makes Stephen Hawking attractive. Yeah, let's all dwell on that for a second.
TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH (2005)In which Benedict gets drunk on a rocking ship and it's HILARIOUS!
AMAZING GRACE (2006)In which Benedict plays an adorable Prime Minister.
INSEPARABLE (2007)In which Benedict fulfills all our fangirly dreams and plays twins.
This is a really, really tragic short film, and you can watch it on
YouTube.
THE LAST ENEMY (2008)In which Benedict stars in a BBC Mission-Impossible-Meets-Minority-Report type of thing.
CREATION (2009)In which Benedict plays some scientist guy with a terrible beard, barely shows up for more than 5 minutes, but I kinda like the dorky way he runs in this scene, so there had to be a gif.
SMALL ISLAND (2009)In which, again, Benedict barely shows up, and his character isn't exactly a good guy in the story, but he's all in love and adorable in the beginning, and that's what matters
AAAAND SCENE!
