Writer's Block: Place of Residence

Cool, quiet, spacious. Actually, I don't think so much about where to live, as I do, where and how to work. So, I need someplace free of interruptions or distractions (hence quiet), with room for me to work on physical model as well as host reference material, and I like wide open spaces, cathedral roofs, that sort of thing.

Wide open spaces and cathedral roofs sound wonderful. Big windows with lots of light, too!

Me, I just want a place where my parents aren't.

Do you desire solitude as well, or would you prefer roomates?
Do you want to live in a relatively remote place, or near the city?

How about privacy? Is it enough to escape there, but then have nosy neighbours who peek into your bedroom?

How about quiet... or would you like someplace close to a night club?

How about size... do you need a lot of space, or do you prefer a cozy small space?

Why am I asking questions?

Something about visualizing what you want in detail, how it helps things to happen faster since you're more open to opportunities and such (or maybe just by magic), I guess... trying to do this this writers' block made me realise how vague my own visions were in some ways, and how detailed in others.

Location (city vs. country) is mostly dictated by how far I would have to drive to get anywhere useful (grocery store, restaurants, etc.). I've lived both out in the country and in the city and can live in either. However, the city seems most prudent considering gas prices these days ( ... )
