This began by being so analytical if there was one thing... and categorical it sounded exactly like irrefutable factual statements. And Hodges even put some examples to prove his point! It looks as if Greg spouts out so much useless conversation Hodges could write a book about it: how long it would take to travel to the nearest star by Greg Sanders, lol.

But the great thing is that, as brutally honest as you write the first paragraph to be, the rest is just as straightforward: Hodges doesn't lie to himself and isn't ashamed of what he really thinks or feels towards Greg there were just some things he could do with his mouth that David was sure had to be illegal in at least seven states, and maybe even a province of Canada or two. O.o I can just imagine David pondering that while doing his list *snerk*

I know only one other character that would show outwards denial so well but not lie to himself (Severus Snape, anyone?) and be as paranoid and unpleasant with other people.

(Oh no! Don't you know that putting House, Hodges, and Snape in the general vicinity of one another would, quite probably, make the world explode? That, or people would just start dying. They would get to the hospital, dying and begging to be cured, and the doctors would look at them solemnly and say, "I'm sorry. It's a snark overload. There is nothing we can do."
