It's okay, you can open your eyes. This one is fluffy.

Title: Subjective Reasoning
Summary: Greg’s talking can get annoying, but David finds it tolerable for more than one reason.
Pairing: David/Greg
Disclaimer: Haha, yeah, right.
Rating: PG-13
A/N: My angst phase is broken! Yay! Thanks for the beta, Kelly.

If there was one thing that David Hodges knew about Greg Sanders, it was that he liked to talk. )

This began by being so analytical if there was one thing... and categorical it sounded exactly like irrefutable factual statements. And Hodges even put some examples to prove his point! It looks as if Greg spouts out so much useless conversation Hodges could write a book about it: how long it would take to travel to the nearest star by Greg Sanders, lol.

But the great thing is that, as brutally honest as you write the first paragraph to be, the rest is just as straightforward: Hodges doesn't lie to himself and isn't ashamed of what he really thinks or feels towards Greg there were just some things he could do with his mouth that David was sure had to be illegal in at least seven states, and maybe even a province of Canada or two. O.o I can just imagine David pondering that while doing his list *snerk*

Man, you have the best description for David: the coffee was gold, especially to overworked trace technicians who got really unpleasant without caffeine. Well, more unpleasant than usual. *sighs* Aah David, when will you admit that you have no more secrets from fanfic writers: sarcasticsra has nailed you (personnality wise, of course *winks*)!

But the BESTEST was Hodges'CSIs were smart creatures: it sounds so much like he's surrounded by another species, out there in the wild... O.O It made me LMAO for five consecutive minutes. Seriously.

Finally (to stop bugging you), only Hodges and his wacky mental lists would be so paranoid: since it was just a mental list he decided no one else would find about it, anyway, and thus it was okay to mention. I know only one other character that would show outwards denial so well but not lie to himself (Severus Snape, anyone?) and be as paranoid and unpleasant with other people. You've got Hodges so in-character it's scary.

He supposed that meant he was in love with Greg Sanders

*dies* Suppose? Who just supposes something like that? *shakes head*

Oh my god! You're so right! Snape and he are so similar. Jesus, stop drawing parallels to different fandoms! I'm going to end up writing some crazy ass crossover and then you'll be sorry. =P

Haha, but now I understand my love of Hodges a little better. =P

David, of course. =P He's a matter-of-fact kinda guy. ^_-

Thanks so much! ^^

(Oh no! You have unveiled my sooper-sekrit plan to have you write a crossover where Snape is found 'supposedly' dead somewhere near Las Vegas, they put him in the morgue only to find out he still bleeds when opened up, so they have to call a very godd doctor to find out the problem (Hello, House!). And you'll just throw in some David for fun...)

Hum. Sorry about that: my bet is it'd turn out crack!fic, lol.

He's a matter-of-fact kinda guy

Oh, yes. Especially when speaking to pipes :P

Don't you know that putting House, Hodges, and Snape in the general vicinity of one another would, quite probably, make the world explode? That, or people would just start dying. They would get to the hospital, dying and begging to be cured, and the doctors would look at them solemnly and say, "I'm sorry. It's a snark overload. There is nothing we can do."

P.S. He enjoys speaking to pipes, more probably. I bet he finds them more intelligent than people. =P
