Went out to dinner at Chevy's tonight. The appetizer was not so good. It was called Margarita scallops. First of all it came in a brandy glass, not a margarita glass. Second, it had little to no taste. The waitress made the mistake of asking what we thought of it. We told her our honest thoughts, "it was ok, but we would not get it again. No flavor..." Before we knew, the manager was at our table comping our appetizer. Apparently the Manager did not like it either :) So we got it for free, not really our goal, but it was nice.
Almost time for GeoWoodstock 5 and the start of Summer. It should be fun to see people again, and meet some new cachers. I think I am going to release a bunch of Travel Bugs from the event. Not sure what yet..... any ideas? I have 8 - 10 tags
I am going to say something now that I never thought I would ever say:
"I Love My Mac"
The decision to purchase a Mac-based laptop was made back at the beginning of February. After Mac's clever marketing, my dissatisfaction with windows, and my need/want for a new laptop all played into the decision. I have not been disappointed. The novel ploy that Apple has employed in the new Intel-based Macs, is the ability to run windows as well as Mac OS. This has been of some importance to me since my GPS map download program is Windows only.
Now my quest for help, if there are any Mac users (especially PS/Mac converts) reading this, please help me with the following quirks.
1. There is seems to be no "delete" key. (there is a key that says delete, but it is really a backspace key) I am looking for a key the will delete the character in front of the cursor, not behind the cursor.
2. MacBooks only have a 1 button mouse, how do i right-click on stuff (like in firefox, to correct misspelled words)
i guess that's all the questions i have for now.
