Quick Update
Work: Things are picking up at work again between evaluations and meetings. Fun stuff. If I could just treat kids and call it a day, I would be happy. It always has to be complicated though. I guess that's how life is. I just hope that I can have more of a handle on taking home less work this year. The last few years have not been good for me between balancing work stuff with my personal life. I do not get paid enough for this to be happening! I guess I should just be happy with my vacation time. :)
Personal: Steve and I had a pretty busy weekend. We went out to visit my family in Holyoke for my dad's birthday. We were supposed to be going out for dinner, but my mom ended up not feeling well so we cooked instead. Although it was a bit stressful getting dinner planned and prepared, everything seemed to turn out well. My parents enjoyed the meal so that was good. We always appreciate our time together since we only get to see each other about once a month. We headed home on Sunday afternoon. We stopped at Olive Garden on the way home so that we wouldn't have to cook later. This is getting to be a tradition for us and it works out well since we have a ton of gift cards to use.
Only two more days till the weekend! I know it's supposed to be rainy, but I am still looking forward to it!
