It seems like the last few weeks have gone by in a blur. I have been so buried in my work at times that I don't know where the time has gone. A bit has gone on over the last week so I will get on with it:
- Steve accepted a new job at Red Hat. It was not an easy decision for him to make, but he decided that he has always wanted to work there and he didn't want to miss the opportunity. He will be starting on June 2. He will be spending the first few days of the job training in North Carolina. Craziness.
- I have been on a bit of an emotional roller coaster for the last few days. I've been involved in a few events/interactions that have reopened my healing wounds a little. I think it doesn't help that I would have been due around now. I can't wait until May 25 has come and gone.
- My friend Michelle just had her baby a few days ago. She had kept the gender a surprise until birth. She ended up having a girl who she named Katherine (Katie). Katie is a beautiful baby. I got to visit with her and hold her yesterday.
- Steve and I bought our outfits to wear to Jack and Anina's wedding. He got a good deal on a suit at J.C. Penny's and he helped me pick out a dress at Macy's.
- Totally random: Is anyone else bothered by those dump trucks that have the sign on the back saying "Construction Vehicle: Do Not Follow"? I keep thinking to myself "Why would I want to follow you? I just want you to get the "F" out of my way."
- I am looking forward to the long weekend. I heard the weather is going to be gorgeous. I am hoping to stop by a garden center to pick out some flowers and shrubs. We have been living here for almost two years now and we still haven't done much with the outside. I hope you all have a nice weekend. :)
