so yesterday jess and i decided to go for a walk. its been getting reatardly nicer outside lately. more sun, less cold, more warmth. so us crazy kids ventured out around 7. we headed off in the direction of the local DQ, thoughts of ice cream in our heads and $5 in cash in my pocket. while i also did want the ice cream, i kinda like heading that direction. its a different area of town. maybe some day well head toward the river/dike area.
maybe it was a littler cooler than wed thought, but it was ok. i was good in shorts and a tshirt. as we were walking and talking, jess wondered if we our local gaming/geek store was nearby. i pointed out it was straight down the street we were on. so we decided to go there. i guess she didnt realize ho wmuch farther it was. i kne, but since im normally the driver, i know these things. but we kept on walking there. finally got there and checked out the stuff. nothing new, but new stuff arrives wednesdays. i did get a backorder made for marvel zombies vs army of darkness 2. seems they only got like 4-5 copies and they disappearred fast. oh well.
we started walking back and ended up stopping at the dq. we decided on a kitkat blizzard. unfortunately the kitkat didnt break up very well and sunk to the bottom. then we went home to complete crash in exhaustion. we were gone for like 100 mins.
today i am feeling it, especially in my knees. both feel as tho any sort of cushioning is completely destroyed and its just sore bone on sore bone in there. making it kinda hard to be comfortable as i thnk the only thing that would be good is weightlessness. something that puts no pressure of any kind in any direction. instead ive had to truck around the site for 2 meetings so far. sitewide and quad. sitewides are really a waste honestly. i dont particularly need a new piece of paper proclaiming how much work i did more than whats required. yippee. id rather just have a quick thank you and some cash. show me the money fool.
guess my next meeting is on a topic i think isnt going to hep much and could ultimately be more troubling than helping.
