Today is the return of the Hague to the RPAC. It's been too long, mostly due to superbowl and midterms. So, about those midterms. Above average on the first, aced the second, bombed the third, aced the fourth. That bombed one really haunts me even considering i did very well on the other three. I thought I was prepared for it but I got there and didn't know what the hell he was asking for. Seriously. It's graded out of 50 and I'm hoping for a 25. I'll be ecstatic with a 30. But I don't see that happening.

On my way to work each day now that I work at the research foundation I have to walk from the west campus bus stop across Kenny Rd to the building. It's not that far of a walk, but everyone always makes it out to be because it is so cold. Honestly, I don't mind the cold. I wonder if it is an age thing. When I get older will I despise the prospect of walking the equivalent of 3 blocks in 30 degree weather? Will I do whatever it takes to drive instead? I hope not. Right now I say to myself "I'm young, I can handle the cold. It's not that big of a deal." I hope later in life I will say the same thing and not resort to having to drive everywhere I go. I guess that goes with staying in shape and is the reason I am so committed to working out these days. People in offices are a constant reminder of why you should keep yourself in good fitness. That way you don't get lazy, lethargic, diabetic, pill-popping, sleepy, coffee in the morning because you cant get going otherwise, candy in your desk because you can't keep going otherwise, case-of-the-mundays all the time.

I'm sure Amanda has already seen this on Reddit, but I thought I'd share with everyone else who can't surf the web all day while at work. A nice capture of New Orleans before and after.

After reading this article I felt like I wanted to start getting up at 5AM. Think about how much more time you would have and how much more productive you would be if you started each day at 5AM. I could actually relax in the mornings and take it slow instead of rushing out the door. However, the drawback to the 5AM plan is that I would have to go to bed no later than 10PM. I'm not sure I could fall asleep that early, and even if I can I live in a house with people who are still awake at that time so I'd be sure to be woken up at least a few times on accident. Also, in addition I get home from work/class/workout on a daily average of 8PM. That leaves me two hours to eat and relax before bed. Dunno, maybe I could pull it off. I might just have to try next week.

And finally, for all of you who don't have my buddy from gville tony as a friend I quote: "The coolest picture on the internet?"
For those of you who DO have him as a friend as well as me, well ... sorry but now you get to look at it twice!
