Hehehee! This was absolutely perfect! Just the right amount of snark and oh, how I needed that. XD

I laughed all the way through, but I especially liked these parts:

It had seemed such an easy promise to make. More than easy: decent, necessary. Something expected of a hero. And he was grateful for, and impressed by, all the things Snape had done for him and for Dumbledore and for the school, so he had been happy to volunteer, glad for the chance to do something for the man who had sacrificed so much to keep the son of his beloved safe.

This is only my second HP fic, actually - used to write nothing but Star Wars. However, I am currently wroking on a fic taking place directly after DH, and you can find the two first chapters in my journal.

I have a Snape/Remus fic but I need to have someone beta it before I post it. But sooner or later, you'll find that as well.

LOL - I love this... Snape being all snarky, and Harry determined to do the right thing. Also, forgetting the levitation charm and Snape purposely not reminding him was great. *g*

“I hope he doesn’t,” Ron muttered. “Snape smiling never meant anything good.”
