Oh, that was precious! Their awkward exchanges, Marie's failed attempts at (heehee) pick-up lines, Miranda's reactions, it was all so adorable!

I think your fic is awesome. There are some grammatical errors that threw me off (but you did say it was unbeta-ed! :D) but there is some serious win in this. I especially cracked when Marie says that Kanda says “There’s a fucking goat.” Because… I dunno, that’s just hilarious to me.

The awkward conversation is also amusing, and Marie going “duh! That’s not a pick up line!” seems like a nice internal characterization. I can see Marie being pretty shy inside, despite being all awesome macho Exorcist.
