[There's a familiar cloak laying just outside a rather sunny courtyard - one of those courtyards that's opposite the time seeing as it's eleven at night - and out in the middle of this courtyard is an Allen laying spread eagle. Nothing's wrong with him, he's just out there enjoying the sunlight

[He starts and sits up a little, looking up at her, then gives Tyki a smile.] For the first time in years.

[Not that Allen minds any, with her warmth at his side he can tell where she is much more easily. Besides, it feels good.]

At the time frame? [Laughs a little.] I missed it too much not to keep track and I plan on soaking it up.

[Pausing at the entrance to this courtyard, and picking up the cloak, before he peers into the courtyard itself. He's a little scared to peer around too much, light bugs his eyes after all, but... but the ping is so dim, now, even if it's still there.]

Allen..? [Lingering outside for a little while longer, before - as the shadows appear - he pulls his hood up and carefully wanders inside, and over to the shadow beneath the tree.]

[Someone really needs to give out vampire-strength sunglasses. It's dim but it's there, at least for the vampires, for him it won't be anything than the slightest tugs.

He hears the voice and tilts his head back to follow Allen's path, along with the customary gladness at seeing his twin there's a pick-up in a heartbeat. As soon as he's close enough Allen's getting up to hug him in the shadows.] You're here. [Hugging him tight but it lacks the strength from before.]

[They really do, the things would be so useful.

Hobo freezes slightly when he hears the... the heartbeat, and his eyes actually dart around, searching for what might be another source of the sound; but there's none that he can find, and then - oh. He's being hugged, and his twin is warmer than usual, and he can feel the pulse in his skin, and-- oh god, he's flailing a bit, but hugging him back.]

You're-- I-- what happened?

[Actually startled him that much, that random heartbeat? The honeysuckle scent is much stronger than the peppermint than ever before, perhaps more of a scent of sunlight as well from basking in it. But the warmth is definitely the sun, he's been out here for a few hours after all.

Pulling back a little to look at him.] I don't know, honestly... I woke up like this earlier.

...Allen?

[There's a soft hum as Allen turns his head toward the voice, eyes opening to show blue.]

[That's a bit worrisome. Coming closer.] Are ya alright?

[Sitting up and getting to his feet, he might not be able to smell and know for a fact that you're his but he's got that strong feeling he is.]

I think so...?

[Crouches next to him and pokes him in the forehead. Was he sleeping? Probably not anymore]

[No, not this time. Though the poke makes Allen start and jerk away from Lavi, rolling into a crouch before he sees who it is and relaxes with a slightly relieved laugh. Even without being a vampire there's no way he could mistake his friend for any other Lavi.]

What was that for, Lavi?

Shouldn't you be- I dunno, going up in flames for taking a nap in the sun?

[Laughs a little, don't you see those blue eyes of his?

Taking that poking hand and putting it over his own chest, there's a heartbeat (beating a little rapidly from the scare) and he's warm.] Not like this.

[Opening his eyes to look at Tyki, look! They're blue instead of gold.]

What did I lie about...?

[Getting up to a sitting position.]

Why would I be if I'm human now?
