[The dressingroom can be cruel, or kind. Today, it's being a little bit sweeter than usual to Cross. His family is still back in their home world, but he's been granted some home videos. And it's a warm reminder of what he's lost. He's watching it on the biggest screen that he could find, with the volume high, and he's enjoying every moment of it.

*Sits on his head. Tim missed you so much, Master~!*

[You know? He's got a puppy back home that likes doing the same thing. This little guy is considerably smaller and that makes this more comfortable.]

What? Want something to eat? Or are you just going to perch up there like you own the place?

[Well, look at that! You're on the screen now, a younger version of you anyway. And a teeny Allen, Jasdero, and Devit are all hanging on you and begging you to play. Cross looks over, and then offers a cigarette.]

[Lights up his own, and grins at the screen.]

Yeah, they are. It's been a while since I've seen these.

[meansprout]

[One of the last people he wants to come across right now is a Cross, and he was going to leave once he saw who was in this room... but he sort of got distracted by whatever the hell is playing on the TV. So now he's just standing there, not entirely sure what it is he's watching.]

[Though the little Timcanpy on his head is staring right at Cross.]

[Looks back for a moment to see who's there, and then goes back to watching a tiny Allen chasing a puppy.]

[He looks away from the screen and at Cross after a moment.]

What is this?

Home videos. They just showed up today.

[Early on in the video's run, Allen stops outside in the hallway because of the noise, and peers around the door.]

Eh? There aren't any real kids in there?

[not_a_vontrapp]

[Nope. But there's a bitty you playing in the pool with a bunch of other kids on the television.]

They're real. Just not here.

[clownhate]

[He can't help staring at the little Allen on the screen; he knows he never looked so happy at that age. Let alone spending time with other kids.]

...I remember you. You're that Cross. The one who's a crazy driver.

[His Allen is lucky, he never had to deal with anything worse than Jasdero and Devit teasing him.]

Nice to know I'm worth remembering. Is Mana still taking care of you?

[Chomesuke walks up behind him and just stands there watching them. Its interesting to see where everyone fits in, in this world... Such a lovely family.]

[Looks up at her, and grins. The video is now showing Adam trying to walk through the house with multiple kids hanging off of his legs. "Oh, my children are so cute~ ♥".]

[She giggles and rests her arms on the back of the couch.]

They're cute, cho.

Yeah, they are. Can't say the same about the bastard they're hanging onto, sadly.
