*so who is that sitting in the library at a table surrounded by huge piles of dusty hardcover books, grumbling to himself as he flips through three at once? It couldn't really be a youthful Cross Marian looking no older than twenty, could it? Well -- stranger things have happened. He picks up his glass of wine to take a disgruntled gulp as he shoves two of the books aside and picks up the third one, titled "Fundamentals of the Magical Arts"; this one gets a bit more browsing before he throws it too down with a disgusted look*
The hell is this crap? Isn't there a single decent newbie book in this library? Dammit... *he downs the rest of the glass in a single go and gives an irritated sigh as he goes to pick up the next one.*
