Walking on water
*There's a pond in one of the courtyards where a certain superhero is training. He steps off the edge of a rather large pond, and when his feet meet the surface of the water, he doesn't sink lower. In fact, he takes a few cautious steps out into the pond, and his boot-clad feet just seem to rest on the surface. He grins. It worked! He must be getting stronger.
One foot sinks about halfway into the water and the smile is quickly wiped off his face. He concentrates, bringing both feet back to the surface. He's not dizzy yet, though, so he keeps walking, taking slow, measured steps and peering around when he can to see if anyone's watching him.*
(ooc: Admire him for his marvelous feat, wtf at him, or startle him so he slips and goes under? :D)
