[He's walking from his own room when he catches a glimpse of the other man curled on the floor. And the fear and worry hit so fast it could give a normal person whiplash, and as soon as they do he runs to him, crouching and giving him a little poke]

Komui!?

*Shivering and watching what is happening before him, he doesn't even hear Bak's voice or feel his hand touch his shoulder. And what he sees in front of him, about twenty feet away, is Lenalee, his Lenalee, holding hands with a dark, blurry stranger. They are in love, they are married, he can feel it. He feels helpless, powerless...*

...Lenalee...have you forgotten your brother?

*She whips her head around to face him. "I never needed you, you idiotic, snot-nosed bastard!"

Komui feels as though his heart has been wrenched apart. He struggles to get to his feet, whimpering a bit, reaching towards his sister.*

...N-noo...

[Bak blinks, only half aware that Komui's out of it. He tries to hold him down, not wanting the other to hurt himself]

Komui! It's me, Bak...

*He notices Bak for the first time. And when Bak holds him down the struggling becomes even more urgent, and he wriggles free of Bak's grasp and begins to run towards his sister*

N-no...let me go...Lenalee...

[He runs after him, grabbing his sleeve and tugging him forcefully]

Komui! she's not here!

*Pauses, fear rising up. Bak looks so familiar, but he can't be the real Bak. He must be tricking him, trying to separate him from his sister, trying to lure him in for who knows what? He pulls his sleeve free and continues running, his sister and her lover running just as fast away from him, getting farther into the distance. He is exhausted but he can't stop... he can't let her leave him. Tears spring up in his eyes and roll down his cheeks.*

...sister...

[He frowns and runs after him again, wrapping his arms firmly around him, anything to get him to stop. He'll hurt hmself at this rate, and that's the last thing Bak wants]

Komui, please. Stop!

*He's suffocating in Bak's grip, filled with crazed, irrational fear and loss. His sister moves farther away, a dim shadow now at the end of the hallway. He makes a strangled sob and pushes at Bak's arms, kicking and flailing.*

Let me go!

[He keeps an iron grip on him even when the kicks and flails begin to hurt.]

No!

*Tears splatter on Bak's hands as Komui struggles. He hears odd voices, echoing in his head, saying nonsensical things. There is no time traveler... I am an akuma... get more coffee... He pushes and kicks, not considering that he could be hurting Bak in his desperate struggle to get away. He has to make his captor understand. He speaks in a hoarse, exhausted tone.*

I need...my sister...

[That doesn't do anything to diminish his hold. If anything, it only makes him feel a little bad. But he has Komui's well-being to consider, and he won't let anything happen to someone he loves.]

Komui, Lenalee's not here.

*He flails, bucking forward, desperately trying to break free. He can't...he can't let her get away... he can't let Bak capture him... More tears stream down. Through his blurred vision, he sees, almost feels, Lenalee round the corner and disappear with her husband. They are gone. He collapses in Bak's arms, his entire weight dragging them both to the floor, making choked sobs. She's gone. Forever...*

[He lets him collapse, collapses with him, just holding him and letting him cry. The whole ordeal leaving him on edge as he rubs Komui's back for his own comfort as much as the other man's. Afterall... what just happened?...]

*He sobs on, feeling a twinge of familiarity as Bak rubs his back, but he still fears him. And already a breeze is blowing through his mind, changing its directions, making Lenalee's memory slip a bit. He shifts a bit, finding the best and fastest way to get up and away from Bak. He still has enough rational thought left to scheme a bit. Colors and shapes swirl before his eyes and he stares at him, strange unintelligible whispers echoing through the halls. And he makes a run for it, catapulting himself out of Bak's grasp. And suddenly he feels something different entirely. He feels giddy and mischeivous, laughing a bit and looking back as he runs away, tears still streaked across his face. He's a fast runner and he makes his way down the corridor quickly.*

[And that man should count himself lucky Bak cares about him. If it were anyone else he'd probably just sit there and wait for them to come back. But this is Komui, and as soon as he's on his feet, Bak runs after him. Feeling more than a little ehausted from the whole chase. But, the things we do for love as they say]

*He sees a glowing green pentagon in his field of vision, and he follows it down the hall, forgetting Bak and chasing it. And when it goes through an open door, he follows, intrigued.*

Heh. Come back!

*The room looks old and seldom used, and there are old-fashioned desks and a chalkboard as well as a large, old bed and a mirror in the room, random things strewn about the desks and floor. Everything's dusty, dark, and disorganized. Komui follows the shape as it slips under one of the desks.*
