*he is walking to his room, gripping the wall with one hand and holding his throbbing head with the other, feeling dizzy and disoriented. He just needs to lie down. He didn’t know the headache would turn out to be so bad...
...He is nearly doubled over now, the pain worsening; every step feels like an earthquake is shattering his skull to pieces. There is a buzzing sound in his ears. Maybe he should go tell Bak, this can’t be good. Yes, Bak will know what to do.
The light in the hallway is piercing, he squints and closes his eyes every few seconds. The buzzing gets louder. He stops walking, resting his weight against the wall. Where was he going? To see Bak, that’s right. He rubs his forehead exhaustedly and continues his slow, unsteady gait...
These halls. They look familiar. Like a nightmare. Do they really exist? The floors, the walls. The walls are covered in yellow tiles. His vision blurs for a second. The world spins. Bak. Need to get to Bak. This is bad.
...Where is he? The pain is unbearable. His mind feels numb and confused. Something is wrong, but he can’t think what. He just needs to sit down and rest… Anxiety bombards him. Wasn’t he supposed to be doing something? The buzzing grows louder and louder and he slides down the wall, his legs and mind giving out simultaneously. Something is wrong...
And then it all stops. His mind is completely white, wiped clean. The buzzing is gone. The pain is oddly numbed. And he is slowly brought back to reality, opening his eyes...
That’s when the anxiety hits again, hard. Cold as ice, fear courses through him. Something terrible is about to happen, he knows it. Cowering on the floor, crouching against the wall, tense and trying to keep still, he’s beginning to shake. He looks frantically around the hall. And then he sees it.*
