I'm wearing my Montera! Right now! And sure, the gauge is too loose, and it could really use two or three snaps in addition to the buttons, but I'm happy. Photos on Rav tomorrow-ish.

Despite the best efforts of Chicago's weather and the UNBELIEVABLY evil children on my airplane, I'm home. (Seriously. My parents would have drawn and quartered me after about 10 minutes.) I've finally figured out the gauge for my next sweater. Took me FOREVER, mostly because the yarn I bought at the market doesn't have a ball band. Naturally, the size I need to cast on is one of the sizes I don't have. I don't have time to go to Joann and because I don't know where I'll be next week, I can't order the Harmony tips I'd love. I just love weekends. This week was so crazy that it's nice to just relax, kick back and take care of things that aren't reporting. (Well, ok, I did some reporting yesterday and I think I should have a pretty good story for Tuesday. Possibly two.) Naps are awesome, particularly naps with cuddly kitties. I tried to teach Mom to knit today. She used to crochet and liked it, but she can't see the spaces between the stitches as clearly as she could. I gave her a book and a hook and some wool for felted stuff a while back, but I think she just found it frustrating.
