Nothing we can do for the moment except hope that he didn't have the recurring kind.
So far all signs are that, apart from getting that to begin with, he was very lucky -- it was easy for the surgeons to remove the whole thing without radiation or chemo, and it didn't appear to have spread anywhere else.
Our fingers are crossed.
