(no subject)

And it's yet another new arrival with a rather perpetual half-smirk, standing slightly above average height (for the population in general, that is, which probably makes her on the short side for the community) in a pair of bright orange hi-top sneakers. Along with that, she's wearing a dark purple hand-knit sweater that's at least one size too large and a pair of denim capri pants. Her eyes are a dark brown and her hair is almost the same color, though certain lights make it look red, worn long and tucked behind her ears.

She's in her twenties and pretty is most definitely not a term that should be used for her, especially with the amount of effort she's put into looking spectacularly average. She is also completely and totally human, though those who can sense such things should be able to tell that she's been influenced quite a bit by the divine (the Greek goddess of the night, to be exact), if they haven't already met her.

She'll look about, then tilt her head to one side. "Well, this certainly isn't where I thought it was. I'm Calanthe and I think I'd rather this felt more foreign."

Typist: Essentially, Lethe and Aloysius needed to not have spawn. But the character was too firm to kick all the way out of my brain so now we've gotten rid of Selene and there's Calanthe, a mortal taken in by Nyx, but not having spent much time with the Greeks in general in a good four or five years. And the username is all Peri's fault.
