Horus and Set finally talk.
HawkHorus: Horus: *is curled up on a couch, and is -not- breaking down, dammit*
stardust enigma: Set: *trots up, watching him hesitantly*
HawkHorus: Horus: *doesn't look up* ....Set.
stardust enigma: Set: *lightly nudges his foot*
HawkHorus: Horus: *curls up tighter, which pulls his feet away from Set* ....Yes, Set?
stardust enigma: Set: *sighs and sits down on the ground next to him, head on paws*
HawkHorus: Horus: *sighs and turns his face into the back of the couch* What do you want, Set?
stardust enigma: Set: I don't know. From you, I don't know.
stardust enigma: Set: I know what I want from Isis, Osiris, Anubis, Thoth, even Loki.
stardust enigma: Set: But I don't know what I want from you. I don't know what to say to you.
HawkHorus: Horus: *very softly* Why did you do it, Set?
stardust enigma: Set: Same reason I killed your father.
HawkHorus: Horus: What reason was that?
stardust enigma: Set: *shrugs* Because I'm mad.
stardust enigma: Set: Because I'm a wildcard, and not even I can control myself. Before now, I never wanted to.
stardust enigma: Set: I killed Osiris because he annoyed me. Same reason I hurt Thoth.
stardust enigma: Set: I'm mad. I'm very very dangerous, and I'm mad.
stardust enigma: Set: But... Loki... *hesitates* Loki makes me sane. Like no one ever has. And it makes me want to stay sane. And it makes me hate hurting you and Thoth, and all the others.
HawkHorus: Horus: *curls up more tightly, and nods slightly* *is wibbly, and trying not to let Set see*
stardust enigma: Set: It's a lot more than just mad or sane, though. Those are just my extremes. I don't know who I am, really. Never have.
HawkHorus: Horus: ....I used to think I knew. Now I just don't know anymore.
stardust enigma: Set: I'll do my best, to protect you.
stardust enigma: Set: *sits up slightly and nudges his side* What do you want me to do?
HawkHorus: Horus: I don't know...I just.... *shakes head* I don't know.... *presses his face into his knees and is shaking a little, trying not to cry* *could use a hug about now*
stardust enigma: Set: *hesitates, watching him, before shifting into human form and pulling him close*
HawkHorus: Horus: *stays stiff for a few moments, before collapsing against Set and -clinging- and finally starting to cry*
stardust enigma: Set: *hugs him warmly, kissing the top of his head*
HawkHorus: Horus: *stops crying after a while, but continues to cling*
stardust enigma: Set: Hey.
HawkHorus: Horus: *muffled by Set's chest* What?
stardust enigma: Set: *lifts his head and kisses away the tears, licking lightly*
HawkHorus: Horus: *sighs softly and closes his eyes, relaxing a bit*
stardust enigma: Set: *kisses him, sweet and gentle*
HawkHorus: Horus: *kisses back, wrapping an arm around Set's neck*
stardust enigma: Set: *breaks the kiss with a light nuzzle* Horus.
HawkHorus: Horus: *puts his head on Set's shoulder* Hmm?
stardust enigma: Set: *plays with his hair* I'm not a safe person to love.
HawkHorus: Horus: ....I know that. I tried to stop centuries ago and it didn't work. I love you anyway.
stardust enigma: Set: I know. I'm just telling you. *kisses his forehead*
HawkHorus: Horus: *kisses Set's cheek and snuggles*
stardust enigma: Set: You know, at least, that if I ever start acting strange, to just get away from me and go find Loki?
HawkHorus: Horus: *....nods* *softly* I know.
stardust enigma: Set: *sighs* You don't even want to know what I was planning to do to you, originally. Or to him. *hugs him tighter* My poor Horus.
HawkHorus: Horus: *just...clings tighter*
stardust enigma: Set: I'm trying to see if I can get Osiris to return the Kingdom of the Dead to Anubis.
stardust enigma: Set: Your mother actually agreed to help.
HawkHorus: Horus: *short, not-bitter-at-all laugh* Imagine that, mother agreeing to help someone else.
stardust enigma: Set: I'm... not sure about her.
stardust enigma: Set: *sighs* Of course, it was after I told her she was a horrible wife and tried to kill her again...
HawkHorus: Horus: *is almost amused*
stardust enigma: Set: Which was after she kept trying to trick me into giving her Egypt, because she thinks I'm an idiot.
HawkHorus: Horus: She just thinks she's smarter than everyone else. And she's really not.
stardust enigma: Set: *laughs* Yeah.
HawkHorus: Horus: *laughs softly and plays with Set's hair*
stardust enigma: Set: I miss Loki. *smiles and kisses the top of his head*
HawkHorus: Horus: So do I. *kisses Set's neck lightly*
stardust enigma: Set: *kisses his nose* but I'm sure we could... amuse ourselves in his absence...
HawkHorus: Horus: *smiles a little* I'm sure. *kisses*
stardust enigma: Set: *laughs, dipping his tongue between Horus' lips* Horus...
HawkHorus: Horus: *sighs and wraps his arms around Set's neck* Hmm?
stardust enigma: Set: Save me from my own stupidity.
HawkHorus: Horus: *hugs tight* I will.
stardust enigma: Set: *smiles* Promise?
HawkHorus: Horus: Promise. *runs his fingers through Set's hair and kisses*
stardust enigma: Set: *laughs, kissing back* Good, because I said some pretty stupid things to Anubis last night.
HawkHorus: Horus: *winces a little* Set, what did you say this time....
stardust enigma: Set: Several things. But I'm worried about Thoth.
stardust enigma: Set: He doesn't think Anubis really needs him.
stardust enigma: Set: He didn't much fight me when I cut his eyes out.
stardust enigma: Set: He needs a better sense of self preservation. At least in terms of Anubis.
HawkHorus: Horus: *winces a bit* He thought he deserved it.
stardust enigma: Set: Right. He needs to be convinced that he didn't. In any way, shape, or form.
stardust enigma: Set: *kisses, and carries off to ravish*
