Part of Ride at Cors Fleurent

Aug 04, 2005 09:22

I think everyone was plagued with problems this night. This is only part of even when I was present. The file was corrupted.

Session Start (Armand-mun:#corsfleurent): Sun Jul 10 23:17:43 2005

Alistair: Maybe I'll work myself up to that someday. I know you'd like that.

Fleur: Would, yes. *beams*

Vidanric: Thank you, my lady.

ArmandStJust: *to Russav* My mistress may need you. I suddenly have too many women. *pales a little* Though there are further complications.

Savona: Complications? Such as?

Meliara: How were your travels, Ma- Vidanric?

Alistair: Especially since your horse appears to like me, or at least tolerates me. That's a good sign, isn't it?

Vidanric: It was quite interesting to see how people in this world live. I didn't like the city, it was far too crowded.

Fleur: Oui. He is friendly. Oblio, not so. *tugs at reins*

Meliara: Yes, I know that you tend to prefer areas with more solitude. *laughs a little* You're much better at finding them than I.

Alistair: You have control over him that I envy.

ArmandStJust: We didn't realize it, but she was-- she just lost our baby.

Fleur: Comes from much training. Are close to my age, the horses.
Fleur: Are fourteen. I was little girl when I started riding them.

Alistair: They know you well.

Vidanric: It comes from years of practice. *laughs*

Meliara: *surprised smile* I don't often see you laughing.

Vidanric: Ah. Don't you?

Meliara: You've been so involved with paperwork, lately.

Fleur: Are good horses, yes. Are twins, very un-alike.

ArmandStJust: This would be a big complication, but Victoria is... fragile. I'm afraid her husband won't take proper care of her.

Alistair: That's usually the case with twins. Except for the ones who are too alike to be believed.

Vidanric: Unfortunately, it is unavoidable. At least I have outings such as these in which to enjoy myself.

Meliara: It is unfortunate. I'm sure that makes the outings all the more pleasant, though.

Vidanric: Indeed it does.

Meliara: *fidgets awkwardly*
Meliara: I suppose we are to wait for the others here, yes? *dismounts*

Vidanric: I suppose that would be a good idea.

Fleur: *the others are taking a lot of forever*

Savona: *worried* Does her husband treat her poorly?

ArmandStJust: Not in the way that says he beats her, but she is neglected. Her husband is gay.

Alistair: You know, you told me about your family, and I haven't told you about my own.

Savona: *is explained* *nods*

Meliara: *pets horse's forelock distractedly*

Fleur: Is true. You ought to.

Vidanric: Have you been well in my absence, my lady?

Meliara: Well. Very little has changed- at least not greatly.

Alistair: Well, the reason I made the joke about similarities with twins is that I have a twin sister.

Meliara: Well, poor Armand is having such trouble- I assume you've heard?

ArmandStJust: *listens ahead* It must sound awful that I'm trying to leave her after this.

Fleur: Oh! I always wanted to. Closest appearing to me is Meg, though.

[missing something due to corruption]

Meliara: Ah.
Meliara: Shall we go?

Fleur: Have we a route?

ArmandStJust: Is there somewhere pretty we can meet at... I know Meliara is fond of races and some of us are just not up to that?

Fleur: Here? Oui, lilac field is ... about a mile from here.

Meliara: *turns to Vidanric* Are you up for a race, again, sir?

ArmandStJust: *to Alistair* Want a kiddie race?

Vidanric: Most certainly, my lady.

Alistair: Maybe later. What I want is to be able to stay on horseback.

Fleur: Am fine with the four of us taking it slower. *lowers voice* Wanted them alone, yes, Armand?

ArmandStJust: You'll do fine. *smiles at Mel and Danric* I am out of practice.
ArmandStJust: *looks at Russav for confirmation* *whispers* Yes, as long as possible unless we hear them fighting.

Savona: *nods in agreement*

Meliara: *grins at Danric* I'll meet you in the lilac fields, then! *gallops off*

Vidanric: *follows*

ArmandStJust: *giggles* Put her on a horse and she's the soul of confidence.

Alistair: Which is why you're having them ride together?

Savona: *shakes his head* Incredible.

Fleur: Is good idea.

ArmandStJust: Well, that and I'm supposed to take up a hobby. *Grins* Match-making.
ArmandStJust: They're fast!

Alistair: You're very good at that, Armand.

Fleur: Not riding? *laughs*

ArmandStJust: Riding is probably good for me. *prods mare into actually moving now* But match-making makes me happier.

Fleur: Match-making would. Should find some way to make my family happy, Armand. Adrien and Meg fight so often ...

Vidanric: *pulls ahead*

ArmandStJust: Adrien and Meg? *eyesbrows up in question*

Alistair: Fighting? I don't like the sound of that.

Meliara: *catches up*

Fleur: Adrien and Meg - my parents. Called by first name.

Alistair: I really don't like the sound of that.

ArmandStJust: I'm sorry then. Are you the eldest?
ArmandStJust: *to Savona* Russav, I was hoping to see you.

Vidanric: *pulls ahead again*

Savona: My typist said you did.

Fleur: I, yes. Gabrielle is nine.

ArmandStJust: Are you... ummm... single?

Fleur: *laughs as she listens* Alistair, is bad why? Fight often.

Savona: Sadly, yes. *melodramatic sigh*

Meliara: *racing neck and neck*

Alistair: It depends what they're fighting about. My parents argued, but it wasn't anything mean-spirited.

Alistair: How old's your other sister?

ArmandStJust: I know a charming lady who, while not exactly single, may benefit from your charming company.

Fleur: Four. Half-sister. Argue about silly things, mostly.

Fleur: My mother's breeding, for one.

ArmandStJust: What a silly thing to fight over.

Savona: Charming lady, really? I'd be happy to help.

Fleur: Is not silly as a wizard. Father is, mother isn't. Mother is veela.
