Just a short log of cuteness. Tybalt/Mercutio.
Tybs: ...*is around..probably tuning the guitar he stole from his typist*
Merc: *pounces, grinning* Hey. *kiss* *blinks at guitar* You play?
Tybs: Learned how from a headmate. *kisses back*
Merc: *smiles* Knocked up yet?
Tybs: *has a distracted typist* Not sure.
Merc: Got something for you. *wraps his arms around her waist from behind, holding out a fist in front of her in offering*
Tybs: *pokes at his fist* What is it?
Merc: Hold out your hand.
Tybs: *does so*
Merc: *opens his hand, revealing nothing, while at the same time slipping a ring onto Tybalt's finger with the other hand, which actually contained it*
*it's a plain gold band--on the inside their names are inscribed, but Merc isn't going to tell him that, preferring to let him find out on himself*
Tybs: *blinkblink* What's this?
Merc: A ring?
Tybs: Obviously. Does it mean what I think it does?
Merc: That I'm not getting my girlfriend knocked up without first proposing to her?
Tybs: --That's what I figured it meant.
Merc: Great. That's settled.
Merc: *blushing awkwardly and pretending he's not*
Merc: *squishes Tybs*
Tybs: *squishes Merc!*
