Walking with Zombies
it's like walking with dinosaurs, only bloodier... haha
ANYWHO! I am going to try attending the annual New Jersey Zombie Walk [Festival, now, apparently?!] on Saturday, October 22nd in Asbury Park, NJ. I always wanted to go to one of these things and see what it's about, and in a weird act of bravery I am actually going to go! I'm just being a nerd and going as Zoey from Left 4 Dead. I look nothing at all like her but hey, I can still have fun right? Haha.
I actually already got the outfit at target. [haha yay for easy cosplay...] Really just have to get white fabric to sew/stitch/fabric glue/tape onto the jacket to mimic the white trim her coat has. And figure out how to sew the straps onto my lil' medkit I got. This shouldn't be too hard to figure out. Also raiding a costume store should provide good props [I NEED MAH AAAAXE!!! D: ] and lil' stuff to make me look all battered and such. Bwahaha~
And since it seems to be a whole day affair I am hoping to take lots of pictures and be goofy and ridiculous... mainly hang with silly people and make friends, because I hate having no "local" friends. Durhurr. yay desperation?! \o/
Overall I am pretty excited for it, and a little nervous... [never been to asbury park before. yay?] But here's hoping things work out and I end up having a fun day of excitement and mayhem! ♥
