laid down the second layer of soil and planted broccoli and carrot seeds... come October I'll stick some garlic bulbs in and pray to the harvesting gods this all works out... hahahaha. I am so excited ♥ kind of went the method I tried remembering my grandfather using... throw down a row of seeds, leave a space, throw down another row of seeds, etc.
I also have the next three [!] days off, so Imma try and get a mesh garden fence put up to keep animals out. Primarily the deer.. goddamn lawnmowers with legs.
Also didn't use all the seeds for what I planted so far, I am actually tempted to do a smaller test batch with containers indoors just in case the seeds outside don't hold. This can mean I will either have one set of veggies growing, or I will become WELL OVER ABUNDANT in veggies. here's hoping for the ladder option. Whee hee~ I also think I'm getting stronger... I can heave 1.5 cubic ft bags of soil around like it's NOTHING. haha!
